What is the difference between JD and JSD?

JD在美国是法律方面最基本的学位， 有了它， 你可以考律照。

JSD理论上是给那些想在学术上研究法律的人去读的， 这些人一般已经有法律上的基本学位。

如果你没有崇高的理想， JD是吃饭的学位， JSD适合回国教书，做政策研究（注：在美国教书不需要JSD），或者延长你留美时间的途径。

Is that possible for students who have LLB undergraduate degree but don't have any relative working experiences get admmitted for top LLM progarms? What is the most important part in LLM application since it doesn't require LAST? Recom Letters?

不是万不得已， 建议不要在LLM浪费时间， 直接去读JD吧

But LLM is far more valuable if you plan to work in Mainland China.

its all depends on your further expectation, you wants be a solicotor, barriestor or tutor.

if you wants praticing in common law countries JD is highly recommomdated,

is more sysmatical then simply doing a CPD or CEPD (under the british Systerm)

if you wants practising in HK, you shuold have either LLB or JD or pass all the papers in CPD + evidences

one year PCLL is also required la

你说的是外籍所刚登陆的时候的事了吧。 现在在美国读JD的中国人越来越多， POOL越来越大了。

当然， 如果你已经在外所做了很多年， 去读个LLM， 再回同所工作， 那是挺好的， 这也是我觉得唯一可行的SCENARIO
