这道题目答案是a，我觉得 没有选项正确的，BC，用了who和whom变成了直待farm workers，明显有歧义肯定不对，A和D选项构成的逗号后面的成分超级可疑阿，肯定不是分句，也不像独立主格结构。。。E的话更加不对！！

B的错误是agreement, surround 不能用单数形式
C不能在介词of后用主格who
E和B一样
D不能用which来指代人，后面的短语明显是用来修饰"farm workers"，也就是美洲非常有特色的”季节农民工“。

为什么green fields,而不是the patchwork是后面从句修饰的对象呢？

但a of b结构中a是主语阿

a(single) of b(plural) that + verb 看修饰决定,不是一盖而论的,除了一些特殊的情况
