Hee, my profile.  I have a B.S. and Master's from a university in the US.  I've been working for 2.5 years as an engineer and a team lead for the past year.  I volunteer a lot and gained the majority of my leadership experience there.  Hope that helps!

Thanks.  Not really.  We're late immigrants so my parents are still playing the catch-up game with retirement funds.  They're just regular engineers trying to make a living.

Congrats!  Now you have one foot in HBS already since they admit >50% of those interviewed.   

Which city are you in? Were you asked to go to boston?  Thanks for sharing.

It was an email from "HBS MBA Admissions" and the subject was "Harvard Business School Interview Invitation."

Right, now I just have to "take care" of the guy coming in to interview after me, ahahah... j/k    I was offered an interview slot in Chicago but I've rescheduled it to be on-campus (in Boston).  Hope that helps!

Thanks for your info, yaoyao.  Wish u luck, and kick some butt.  anyways, i am still waiting.  haha, what's new?  today's not a good day.  i missed a presentation this morning because of traffic, client wasn't too thrilled.  then i drove to/waited at airport for 6 hrs to pick up some folks.  i almost wanna give up now.  i don't need a mba.  at age of 2x, i am making over $200k a year.  there is no guaranteed added value to my overall compensation.  so if hbs or stanford doesn't want me, so be it.  sorry, guys, i am just venting my frustration here....

A post on businessweek basically says historically 30% of HBS invites are out by now.  No big deal if you don't have an invite by the end of this month, but your chance is slim if no luck by Christmas. 

over $200k comp is certainly better than most.  I guess many folks are wondering which function you're in...
