I am new here in the forum and very interested in Insead too. However, I have not prepared my GMAT and Toefl yet. I am targeting Jan. 2008 or Sep. 2008 intake. May I join your team?

Got my Master Degree in Automotive Engineering from University of Hertfordshire(UK) 2004

Now I am working in Singapore Technologies Kinetics (Singapore) for 2 years

There is no need for me to take Tofel, but no execpt for GMAT.

Tanis, there are 300 seats in Fontainebleau and 150 in Singapore for each intake.

well I tried to find an answer for your from INSEAD online Q&A session hosted by INSEAD ADCOM. My impression is that there are sure fewer seats available for the 3rd round, but it is not the decisive factor for your application. If you file a strong application package, your will stand a good chance. In another word, a relatively weak application will not stand you out even if you apply for the 1st round which supposedly has more seats. And if you are very strong candidate but fail to get a slot because of the limited admission, Insead will be more likely suggest you re-apply which, in my opinion,  more or less equals to a deferred admission.

The purpose I posted this thread is to motivate people who are planning to apply for INsead and I am glad to see that so many INSEADer-to-be here. If you have any questions about INSEAD, please feel free to bring them up and let's help each others on our way to INSEAD.

There are less seats in the third-round, and also less applications.

So it really depends.

Not much difference among the first three rounds.

Do NOT try the fouth one though.
