very good background. We also have some legal background students and I'm actually one of them. From my point of view, your academic and work experience will be a plus instead of weakness when applying for CEIBS or do job hunting after graduation.Law study makes one more logic thinking and many jobs at foreign companies prefer candiates with legal background. It's even better if you can combine your professional knowledge with business application. So do not feel hesitated... you are definitely one of the most ideal types of applicants.Try your best to get a good GMAT score and good luck!
what i am looking forward to is actually the evaluation of the competition value of my background from those professionally related to CEIBS like you, but still many thanks to your suggestions. I will definitely write a good essay presenting what i thought, what i can get from CEIBS, and what i can contribute to its development.
Actually your background is pretty fine to apply for CEIBS.Graduated from prestigous school with master degree will even be a plus. CEIBS may be interested to candidates from different background no matter science or arts or law...and admission office has no bias in this regard. But my observation is background is less important than essay writing and interview performance. And you do have to present a good reason for why MBA and why CEIBS.You should think through these questions not only to convince the interviewers but also to align with your real career plan. These questions may even bother you through the MBA study until you successfully get a good offer So instead of taking the 18 months to think about your future, you should actually try to figure it out right now. My 2 cents.Hope it's helpful to you.
