I've just made up my mind to apply CEIBS 2007. However I have not taken GMAT yet. I know that the final round of admission due on 5/20.

1/ Is there any CEIBS paper test in near future?

The lateset CEIBS Admission Test will be held on Mar. 10, 2007. Depending on the result, you can decide whether you should and when to take another GMAT TEST.

As to the scholorship you can refer the info in floor 248. I just want to remind you that the later the less vacancies available.

Anyway, it is much cheaper than the case if u go out for MBA study in states and other countries, isn't it?

And as for the "LAN JIAO" issue, i think it depends on the circumstance.U can "Lan Jiao" everyday if you are satisfied and confident with your test score in CEIBS.-seriously.

Each year, there are MBAs who have no relevent experiences and successfully swich into luxury industry in CEIBS, for example, LVMH. But frankly speaking, i don't think it is a good job if you want a high-salary. And luxury industry is totally BS except innumerable chances to meet many PPMM/Model. U can find reference from the film whose name is " the devil wears prada".-Joking

BS=Bull shxx/ and it can also mean business school in some cases..depends on circumstances.

1. 背景评估：本人2001年复旦电子本科毕业（GPA中等），在一个合资的通信公司从事了2年的研发工作（从engineer做到project manager）；随后在一个global IC distributor co.工作了两年，担任FAE(Field Application Engineer)工作；目前在一个外资wireless IC公司工作超过1年，从事Pre-sales的工作。这样的在IC行业的经验，是不是能成为中欧diversify中有别于IT的另外一个门类？

2. 目前仍未考过GMAT，刚刚开始复习，打算参加中欧的考试（请问一般来说，我是否可以重复参加3月和5月的两次考试？也就是说，我是否可以申请R2 & R3？）

3.中欧是否支持Re-applicant？Re-applicant会否有任何影响？

1.Personally, I think your background is excellent. You graduate from a good university and has a very diversified experience. My suggestion is that you should pay attention to your application papers and demonstrate your uniqueness.

2.The school encourages applicants to take GMAT. For CEIBS test, you can take R2 and R3 after you submit your application package. But normally one test is sufficient. 

3.You can apply for CEIBS any time you want. There are some students who get the offer in the second year of application.

For "diversification", I'd rather say that MBA office will still categarize you as IT background applicant.But it doesn't matter, cos our I don't think "diversify" advantage is applicable to everyone. In general, when we say diversity, we mean people from different countries and different industries with different job positions and various ages etc etc However, we seldome breakdown IT industry into such a detailed segmentation in regard of MBA admission, though techinically you might be working in a very unique species of IT job, which most non-IT personnel don't understand too much. On the other hand, you may also define "diversity" in another way- that is everyone has a different side. So Jacky is right.If you really want to differentiate yourself, try to work hard on your ESSAYS. You might elaborate more on your potential leadership, your work stories/experience,your expertise in any area..... Sometimes trivials can be your shiny point.

typical study day for students here can be :

10:25-11:55     Classes(but first class can starts at 08:40 , depends on your section's timetable)

Lunch break

14:15-17:45   Classes

18:00-20:30   Language course (optional)
or you might have team disc

That's academic part and is really simple version. Workload is heavy here! But in and between you might want to attend different events such as presentations/lectures/forum/club activities etc.So you never feel bored at CEIBS(except for the canteen food occasionally)

Usually we finish the day or start the new day after 0:00.
