I can understand you, J&J is a relatively stable place, but still some of colleagues plan to study MBA. And of cource you will not know that.  I prepared GMAT from last yeat, but until last month, my colleague just know that I will go to study in 2007, hehe

I think qyu2, you do have to get a clear understanding of why you want to get an MBA degree in U.S top schools at the current stage.You have questions about your background and qualification to apply for top b schools and you even doubt jj from a company level. If I am one member of adcom, to be honest, i will reject you because you neither have self-confidence  nor sense of honor of where you work.

JnJ mkt很強阿  JnJ的fmcg部門跟PG lever 是齊名的 並沒有聽說過JnJ只強在醫藥以及醫學器材的這件事情

actually,  most of jj's business is from pharmaceutical and medical devices, as xi'an jassen, which is the

largest otc medicine company, and also J&J medical China, which is the largest medical devices and diagnostics

suppliers for domestic market. FMCG is only a small part of J&J business.

I do not see any difference between JJ and PG when u apply top b-school.

yes, you are right,  most of jj's business is from pharmaceutical and medical devices, but which doesn't mean it's market is not strong, in fact, OTC's market and channel management are very close to FMCG and in J&J there are a lot of excellent market professionals.

So, really don't worry your working background. Just try your best to prepare your exam, essay and interview. Top b school will not recruit you just because you are from J&J,  but if you are enough excellent, there are differences between J&J and P&G.

我觉得LZ应该刚工作不久，做好你现在工作，什么样的学校不是靠你去人才市场签了个什么样的OFFER决定的.......
