I tend to choose different programs in different universities. For example, in Columbia Business School, I'll choose the program focusing on risk, decision and operation, which is co-organised both by the business school and the department of Industrial Engineering and Operation Research which is right the department I'm working in right now. And in some other universities, I may choose programs in Finance, since my mathematical background is relatively strong. I'm right now at the very beginning stage of application and to be completely honest, I really don't think a Master's degree in Columbia will help me a lot. Coz, you know, there're always some people who're outstandingly perfect around some corners of the world. In my apartment, I know two Phd students in Columbia Business School. One of them is from Spain and the other's from Russia. I have to say that they are really really brilliant and I always feel shame when they met me in the hall way, trying to chat with me about any of the recent political or business movements taken by the Chinese Government, while most of the time, I myself found out that their ideas were more rational and wonderful than mine. So, as we all know, the standard of admission to a top Business School is very high and I just wanna have a try. Wish all of us good luck!:-)
