关键看support 后面的部分
D中用不定式， provide的主语是evidence，E选项有evidence提供support为了classify的意思，逻辑意思显然出了了问题
如果要选E的话要改成 provides compelling support for us to classify
provides compelling support for classifying Africa’s forest elephants and its savanna elephantsas separate species
这里区分两种象是不同品种作为一个动名词短语跟在 for的后面
表述清晰，使用合理

个人认为,动词是优于名词的,OG上基本上都是这样
其次,还觉得这里的结构应该是provide...for 跟support的搭配似乎没什么关系喃
