一个朋友的选校,觉得挺有道理的

他条件还不错,在一个UK的mutual fund做equity analyst,之前在一家ib也是做equity analyst,不过他说以前没啥经验的时候就是做些assistant的杂事. 他本科gpa10%的样子,在UC Berkley exchange一年,不过他gmat只有680

他选了4所学校, harvard/yale, CBS/NYU stern 他说如果能去harvard/yale的话,以后回国做生意可以拿harvard/yale忽悠人,如果能去CBS/NYU stern也很好,location好 finance强

觉得有时侯想简单点反而好,希望他能申请到一所或几所, hoho

is gmat really so important?  this guy's background seems to be pretty strong: both buy-side and sell-side experience, gpa 10%,ucb 1-year exchange   oh my god!

he/she should be quite suitable for the program at nyu or cbs

lz is talking about 回国做生意, i don't think many mainland chinese knows about  such names such as lbs/kellogg/stern, even if they are top business schools.

 but if you tell them u graduate from harvard/yale, most of them should know what u mean
