不对吧 首先你那个举例不太对 你的举例中2个都是election当然可以这么比

但原文中按c选项 一个是 in histocial sighting 后面是in its return of ..  明显范畴就不一样 一个是历史性的目击 一个是回归？ 这个叫平行？ 当然不是。。。

这道题应该是a阿 不是哈雷彗星在他的返回中轰动世界  是哈雷彗星的返回轰动世界

个人倾向于C，虽然全句的逻辑应该是HC的return引起人们的注意（向楼上说的），但注意上下文：句子前面有一个other，说明后面应该是与之形式的另一种sighting（in his return）
