“by preventing..”和”through improving performance”我觉得更对称啊，为什么答案是下面的呢？

 

Unlike cooking with spices, taking spices for medical use is done in large quantities in order to treat particular maladies.

The answer: In cooking, small quantities of spices are used, whereas in medical usage spices are taken

 

一定要有把“小数量”对比讲出来吗？

save and gain是对称的..improved worker performance 是一名词词组...

第二题:

你既然明白对称原则.unlike这里有没有考虑前后对称问题?

前后两句是对比的关系.答案无论从逻辑关系还是从结构上都很准确.
