请问Harvard的录取过程必须等official G/T到了才开始吗？

我曾写信给HBS的admission office，询问是否收到我的official G/T成绩，我是05年考的然后让ETS免费寄的，得到的回复如下（实在读不懂是HBS说我不去给你找呢，还是说现在没有收到）：

We are unable to verify the receipt of official score reports. Please check
with Pearson to ensure that your scores have been sent to our office.
The HBS code is HRLX892.

然后问Pearson得到的答复是也不知道ETS有没有寄到，他们之间交接不管这个。

不知道如果10月11号submit application后，我看招生简章上说会发给我一封confirmation letter, 那上面会包括是否收到official成绩这种信息呢？以前年度申请过的前人们能给以指点吗？谢谢！

他们现在是不会单独根据你的要求给你找“是否已经收到你的official G/T成绩的”。所以他们要你自己确确认Pearson 是否把你的成绩寄到学校了。如果你写信给 Pearson，他们说他们不知道的话，麻烦你自己再写一封新给ETS（因为毕竟他们已经各管各的了），问他们是否已经寄出你的 official G/T成绩/或者是什么时候寄出的。

如果你做了这些工作后，你在递交申请材料后，同时给hbs写一封邮件，说你的GMAT/TOEFL是什么时候由XXX已经寄出了，希望他们查一下，如果他们没有收到或者找到的话，叫他们立即写封e-mail告诉你，还缺少什么？

一般来说，包括hbs在内，在deadline后的2到4个星期内，他们要match所有申请者的材料，确认他们的材料是否到期，或者还缺少什么材料？然后他们会发一封信告诉你。当然你也可以通过online去查你的申请状态，看材料齐不齐？如果你的的材料齐了的话，也许他们就不发信告诉你了啦。

在你递交了申请后，你最好多follow up，与录取办公室多沟通，这将有益于确认你的材料是否齐全。

Looks like you just have to be done with the exams BEFORE the deadline but can send the reports in AFTER.

You must report the unofficial GMAT scores given the day of the test. The Admissions Board acknowledges only the GMAT scores submitted on the application. The official GMAT scores sent by ETS may arrive after the deadline dates. The HBS code is HRLX892.

HBS requires that you complete the exam before the deadline date for the round in which you are applying. If you are applying in Round 2, for example, you must take the TOEFL before January 3, 2007. If you have taken the computer-based test, we require that you self-report your TOEFL score on our application. We strongly encourage applicants to investigate taking the IELTS test should you have difficulty in scheduling a TOEFL exam.
