Only applicants who have completed all of the business fundamental and prerequisite courses will be considered for admission. The classes must be taken at an accredited school other than BYU. If you do not have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, you usually have not completed the prerequisite courses.

You can apply for the program, but our current policy for international students is that we give consideration only to students who are already in the U.S.

Because we cannot provide financial assistance to international students who are not currently in the U.S., most international students will not attend NIU even if we accepted them into the MAS program. This is the basis for our policy of not admitting international students who do not currently reside in the U.S.
Individuals who have already earned an U.S. bachelor's degree in accounting, a MAcc or an equivalent degree from another institution, whether accredited or unaccredited, may or may not be eligible to apply.
