In what follows, however, the word "boomerang" refers only to those that return.

我也选了A,when这里感觉表意已经很清楚了啊,为什么还要from when,而且E中,when和1788还离那么远

试着解释一下

首先,A&B,C&D实际上对应的,所以排除法基本可以搞定。

E有容易混淆的地方,ever since 1788 应该理解为描述made for throwing boomerangs, 如果 是描述Non-Australians, ever since 也许应该是 None Australians have been calling ... ever since....
