Hi, Kellogg2008, I really appreciate your answer! And could you help on the following question as well?

1) It's nice to see the placements, but what I really need is the direction of CHINESE students especially from mainland. I expect you to elaborate in more detailed way..... Can you give more specific company, position, class in terms of internship and full-time job for class08,07 or 06? And how many percentage of full-time job was hunted through on-campus interviews (CHINESE STUDENTS)?

2) And regarding to the Mentor issue, according to your experience, will school assign one master for each new fish or fish has to seek for his master from the beginning?

Before you come to Kellogg, you will get a current Kellogg student assigned to help answer your questions. After you get to Kellogg, there is no assigned mentor from school. However, you will get mentors from some clubs and the Alumni Mentor Program.

3) What is your experience on the learning team (if there is any)?

We don't have learning team at Kellogg. We form different teams for each course.

4) How many Chinese students from mainland in the last 3 years? And how many if plus Chinese from other continents?

Every year, there are between 10 and 15 Chinese students (people who have PRC passport) including 2Y,1Y and MMM. Among them, around 60% to 70% came directly from mainland China.

一直没有收到Kellogg的据信，面试是在1月初，"complete"是在1月底，按照Kellogg rolling process个人觉得希望一天比一天渺茫。今天居然收到一封email说要求我fax or email official G/T score for atttention.纳闷了，难道成绩寄丢了？那又怎末会complete?

I am wondering if you could shed some lights on the topic of "Kellogg vs. NYU". I am having a hard time choosing between these two great schools. My goal is to switch career into imvestment management (buy-side) and Stern's location and reputation in finance defintely will help me. However, Kellogg is ranked much higher and has its M7 effect. From the job stats, each school sent equivalent % of grads into investment management (3-4%), which makes it harder for me to convince myself going into either school.

Thus, can you provide some insights on the job prospects in IM at Kellogg (both Intern and full-time, if possible?). Thanks a lot and I am looking forward meeting you guys at DAK.

It is the average among all students. There is no data on the average among Chinese students.
