B where处错误，应该用一般过去时的被动语态；their代词指代不清；逻辑含义错误；

C 时态错误，应该用一般过去时；逻辑含义错误；

D. even though…， but…语意重复；discovered前缺主语、Be动词，应该是 they were；

E. 句子结构混乱；them，they指代不清；named 前缺were；后面完成时错误，应该用一般过去时；

B错误，Although从句没主语，而且where从句中也没有主语，肯定错误

个人觉得这道题考察的是对句子逻辑关系的理解。

B/C/D/E都在一定程度上，曲解了原句的意思。

题干主体有两个句子：

1.Clovis points, ……， have been round all over north America
    

2.they are named for the new Mexico site where whey were first discovered in 1932

这两个句子有转折的意思，主干是Clovis points因为第一次在the new Mexico site被发现，并以此命名。虽然Clovis points被发现在北美到处都是。
