首先证明了half the chance, or less的说法是正确而且实用的，在google上也有大量的使用例子

其次，of dying of a heart attack 在这里也是可以用的，当然我认为to die of a heart attack也可以用

最后，E最大的问题就是改变了to die of a heart attack的位置，会让人产生后者是被比较对象的限定词而不是比较的对象，OG11中有这类的解释。

所以，应该选B！

(B)  have half the chance, or less, of dying of a heart attack than those who are sedentary do.

Even if we accept "have half the chance, or less" as being correct (which I am still not really sure about), the "than" used in B is still wrong since there is no comparision here.

看了11楼和12楼的解答更加的不明白，本来只有一个问题，现在变成两个问题了，呵呵！！！

1（E）中的to die of a heart attack在句中作什么用呢

2    还有我最早的问题还没解决，再贴一下：不明白的是 fifty percent less likely than可能少于50%，前面又加了一个at least至少可能性少于？？？不懂呢？？？？

至少A是大于等于A的意思 ，至少少于50%怎么可能是小于等于50%的意思呢
又是小于，又是大于等于，绕不出来呢

less likely 放在一起考虑。意思是不可能。

说明他们的死法儿，这个我再问一下。为什么用to这个介词呢，是因为sedentary这个词的固定用法蚂？意思我是明白的，就是总坐着的人容易生病，根据中文的意思to有将要容易发生什么事情的意思，我没见过呢，查了一下字典，to 在牛津上第9个意思是：表示两件 事物相接或相连。是这样吗，已经是小问题了，但落实了就少一个。谢谢。

我这几天生病了，看了几天病，原因就是坐太久了，555，医生说我的病因之一就是坐太久的时候我一下就想到这一题我还没弄懂呢。
