如此题，为什么as从句后面的did可以省略阿，什么时候可以省略什么时候又不可以省略？ than 引导的对比从句呢？

这道题比较的是civilization和civilizations 没有省略什么 civilizations 后面不需要动词

5楼说得对，如果比较的是civilization的某个性质就要加that 等，比较得是动作就用do
