C、D用exceeds应该没有问题吧？可以理解为陈述一个事实啊！请教牛牛。

我开始也选的B,看了大家的意见，我终于看明白了
C.D.E 时间壮语between 1990 and 2000 放在主语The growth of the global economy 和谓语exceed之间有歧义，也就是说这个时间壮语究竟是修饰The growth of the global economy 还是修饰exceed？所以C.D.E错。
B错在from when, from 本来就有从....开始的意思，when也有同样的意思，放在一起重复。
当然其他选项还含有其它错误。

注意哦，A 选项是 between 1990 and 2000 the global economy... 而不是 the global economy between ...
所以it是代替the global economy.

A中during前面的动词不应该是it did，应该用完成式

但是请注意主句中用的就是grew，而不是完成时，并且主句也是表示一段时间的（between 1990 and 2000）

Ｂ：Between 1990 and 2000 the growth of the global economy was more than that during 10,000 years, from when agriculture began　似乎说得通

had been for 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture 一般现在时配合过去完成时，不对的。
Ｄ：The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeds what it has been for 10,000 years, from when agriculture began　似乎说得通
Ｅ：The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeded what it did
for the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture :growth是名词，后面来个what it did，搭配不合适，相当于what the growth grew的样子.

但是还是觉得D没有错， EXCEEDS可以表达一般现象，it指代THE GROWTH也正确啊？？

求解答！！
