另外下面一题是OG中的题目，这题IT没有省略

      avoid is used imprecisely in C and D because it illogically suggests that the chalice is acting to prevent its own theft.

不应该是take sb. sometime to do sth.么?我也看到有人说这里it省略,说是后面有题目可以验证,我还没做到,但现在觉得应该有it

之前做一直觉得应该加it,选B.

今天再仔细读了一遍题，这里是sth.(既the army of terra-cotta warriors）took sb. sometime to complete.

是不必要再加it的. 相比较, C选项wordy了.

而OG上的例句183在介词词组 keep from 当中,必须要出现代词it.  to keep it from

个人觉的再这题里补上更明确

有些短句里将it省略，不造理解上的困难。

C是以省略的观点看这题

B则更贴近理解，it补上让句子意思更明朗，倾向于B。一开始的时候我也选C，但是多读几遍还是it加上更号些
