OG11-30（即OG10-105）关于不可数名词前可否加an的问题

我可以比较确定这句话里面as much as=almost(不怕被拍,呵呵)

OG的解释中,so much as与as much as不同在于前者用在否定句中

so much as is considered idiomatic if it is preceded by a negative, as in "She left not so much as a trace."

她几乎没留下痕迹

从这里我们可以看出原句子里as much as=almost

可是OG上面的解释：the sentence depends on the correct use of the idiom as mush as to indicate comparison. 所以看样子在这里不作‘几乎，差不多’呀？

totally agree with madben:

1.
I think inventory is a coutable noun. I don't know why other people
think it is a mass noun. Inventory 作为库存的意思讲，本身是可数名词. 用as much as
是指库存里的东西因为不确定，所以不可数. 举个例子: A tablespoon (of water) is as much as three
teaspoons.

2. and then parallels with the main clause, what omitted is "the inventory is".

3. business is also a countable noun, both businesses and business are okay here.

4. carry is a verb here. What is being compared is "inventory", the complete sentence is "An inventory equal to 90 days sales is as much as (the inventory) even the strongest businesses carry"
