选项D since引导原因从句应该包含完整主谓结构吧 而且D中的and volcanic activity that的that改为which比较好,因为在此不表示限定的意思,只是提供而外信息而已吧

选项E 三个并列的核心词为 erosion, movement和 thrust 都是动作性名词,是可以并列的吧
