E選項還是不對，因為E的用字和 New York Times 上的用字不同。

E不對的原因是，likelihood 與 may 同時用，語意重複，但是 NYT卻是用will。

D 不對的原因在於表目的要用 to + verb

其实相当于对原句a particular asteroid or comet will be likely to do 。。。提问

所以C里面的be to do 是没有问题的，错就错在will be likely to do 实际上是意思重复的，要么will，要么is likely to do，两者从没有同时出现在一起过。
