这个题目应该这样思考：
（1）扔掉D和E
  (2) 比较 A和B，在语法中 what =the thing that,当然A比B要简洁一些。
（3）比较A\c，单纯地看选项我们是看不出来的，往后看in better sound than was ever before possible，发现A的时态有问题，所以C比较好。

为什么说A的时态有问题?A有过去时,好啊!?

“in better sound than was ever before possible” 实际就是拿现在同过去的比较； 加上主句用的是has been一般现在时，所以what was和has been 这种搭配是逻辑上不合理的。
其实，选项的比较不是狭隘的语法的比较，而应该是意思上的比较。大家可以把a 和c分别翻译一下。
