学校17号才通知我说找到了成绩单的快件，可以开始review我的材料了。一直到现在都没有任何消息，真是哭死了。duke是一定会给interview的吗？

adcom说alumni interview最迟这月27号通知，12月3号就要面试完成，时间这么短，急死人阿。

I got the same question. Anyone can help me on that one if you bumped into the same situation as I did? Otherwise will call the admission office tonite and find out the solution to this.

DUKE的interview不是by invitation, 而是自己去约的, 即便是在学校没有看完你的申请材料之前也可以约. 面试问题基本上都是比较常规的问题, 别担心. Good Luck!

每年ESSAY的题目不可能一样, 但基本上都是围绕着几个重点来命题, 象career progression, short- and long-term goals, why MBA, why Fuqua, your leadership skills, your personality, your performance in a team setting etc. 所以抓住这几个重点来准备就可以了.

关于专升本学位的问题, 我不能代表学校来回答, 但我个人的理解, 应该是没有问题的. 如果你已经有了一定的工作经验, 学校更看重的, 是你在过去的几年里做了什么.

Fuqua的Marketing很强, Ross是在Operations上面有优势. 申请的时候可以两所都试一下, 不到最后你也不知道自己到底适合哪所.

不能说机会都被她拿走了。真正申请华尔街的工作的时候就知道这些拿到 offer的人都是非常有毅力而且很有天份的人，不是所有的人都能坚持下来整个过程的。我觉得这个不是压抑的问题，结果都是靠自己努力来的。就好像申请MBA，总有人拿到好些牛校的offer，你再羡慕压抑也没有用啊，机会都是给有准备的人的。

Well, The admission office told me that they can't accomodate any alumni to interview me in Taiwan so the person will try her best to find a alumni for me, adivse the result before Nov.27th 2006 and give me one week to arrange my interview. I first wrote a mail saying I am more than willing to go to such places as Hong Kong to take interview and even called the school but got no reply till today. Although they said interview was not required I am still very worried about it since it may affect my candidacy.

What can I do for now since the US was on vacation of Thanks Giving?

Same as you. Admission office sent me a letter saying that they would give me a confirmaiton whether they could arrange an interview on Nov 27.  And they also said it was same whether interviewed or not. I returned the letter showing my strong interest for the interview. No reply at all.

I am still waiting.  The best the result is that they suddenly tell me: Congratulations. Come on. Gig offer here.   hehe.   that is just my dream.
