杜克的网申中托福成绩有一栏是structure/writing，是不是写第二部分和作文成绩的？可是怎么写也写不进去，有没有人给我答一下疑？

这栏是针对CBT的，因为语法和写作一起算分的。如果不是CBT，可以写语法成绩。

Duke term 1得课程让我有些疑惑：网页上说term 1是这样开始的，global institute.

但是我在duke得 core courses 没有找到这个项目，难道是都在第一学期还是那个取消了还是可选？疑惑的很，希望得到解答，谢谢！

Global Institute的前身就是Summer Institute.

Summer Institute是一个四周的短期课程，从7月10日开始到8月初。所有母语不是英语的国际学生必须参加。内容类似一个小MBA，包括英语训练，MBA课程学习以及Career Center的培训，帮助国际学生适应美国的教学方式。其中还包括一次去华盛顿的field trip，了解美国文化。

今年DUKE课程改革，Summer Institute被Global Institute取代，变化包括：

1：缩短一周时间；

2：所有学生（包括美国学生）必须参加，并记学分；

前几天刚提交了Duke的申请,如果有面试,大概会什么时候发invitation?

楼上的兄弟，你没有在申请的时候填申请alumni interview么？DUKE的面试不是invitation的

如果你填了的应该都是会有安排alumni面试的，到底DUKE在国内的ALUMNI BASE还是不小地。
