答案是B 我选了E.

A C D可以明显排除~

但是觉得B用过去完成时没什么时间标志,

以及 be superior to sth应该是习惯用法

白勇排除E项是这么说的:

ING分词的完成时态不能做定语修饰名词.

E选项,ING分词的完成时态HAVING BEEN放在名词HORSE后面,作定语修饰HORSE,错~

我看不懂了~既然说不能作定语修饰名词,怎么有说作定语修饰HORSE.

基本上 HAVING BEEN的表达方式都是错误的，我也不清楚你的问题到底是什么，不过这题是大全552，LZ可以查大全注释或者讨论连接里的前人讨论。白勇的解释有时候并不完全对。

552, sec10-15

A) and前后不平行。
B) 时态错。
C) best. 可认为proved前省was. superiority 应用to
D) 大错。
E) 大错。

In choice C, the best answer, the main predication usefulness…was demonstrated is paralleled by superiority [was] proved, with [was] omitted as understood. In choices A and E, the prepositional phrase beginning with…violates this parallelism; in A, B, and E, the verb forms being, had been, and having been are not consistent with the simple past tense in was demonstrated. The phrase superiority over is unidiomatic in B and D: x is superior to y, not over y. D is also faulty because no function word, such as the conjunction and, grammatically connects its superiority… to the rest of the sentence.

所以就感觉5个选项都不怎样~~只有挑一个相对还行的~

其实选C也是在自圆其说的感觉~~谓语WAS怎么能省就省呢~~

像这种题如果在考试中该怎么办啊~~那么短的时间~如何选择呢~

GMAT有一个原则就是简洁原则，was在前面出现过，所以后面的相同内容就省略，而且prove是一个可以以主动形式表被动含义的动词。

MM只是不熟悉考点，所以觉得麻烦，相信在你以后的复习中会攻克SC的。BY的有些解释其实太过绝对，建议回归OG，下载菜鸟手册。

B的过去完成事态没道理。

应该是C， 别太把白勇的答案当回事，他自己也有好多东西没搞清楚呢。

觉的如果把C中的to换成over就更完美了。
