托福的2001/1 的31题！！

问下托福的2001/1 的31题：chasedream 的答案是a:

32. Despite the fact that lemurs are general nocturnal, the ring-tailed lemur
                travels by day in bands of four to twelve individuals.

 

答案：B

分析: 修饰形容词nocturnal的应该是副词, B错。

改正：general à generally 。

参考译文：
        尽管事实上狐猴通常是在夜间出没，铃尾狐猴却是以一个4至12人;

但是Despite不是介词吗，是不是应选a。另外adj+adj也有此用法？？

despite是介词啊，“despite＋名词成分”是正确的用法，“despite＋含主谓的句子”才错误，“adj.＋adj.”是托福中比较典型的错误，要改为“adv.＋adj.”

so what about the a progressive political and social outlook??

progressive是修试后面的outlook的,是对的.和1楼的题不一样.
