如果做平行的谓语，前面应该有BE动词，但前面的is显然不可以。

由着道题目我想到了下面这个885补充题，两道题目都是that从句划线，下面的答案是C,我选的是D,我本来以为错在that 从句里的subject不能用现在分词形式，可是看上面的题目，明明是可以的。下面这道题错在哪里呢？

这道题,我做的时候也错了,我选的是 C ,看玩答案以后,我认为是 意思不对,意思上来讲 前面说什么  beat in unison, 后面说 in specialized orientations exclusive of one another
可见两句的意思应该是相反的,所以不能用  AND ,应该用 yet 那么可以排除 ,A,C,E ,B 很简单,它没有连词,所以错误,所以正确答案是 D ,

对于 nickynicky 的那道题 ,我认为  两个动词用 and 连接,表示的意思是相当并列,在一个层面上,但是 如果 一个动词,后面跟一个 现在分词 ,就是表示伴随或结果等等, 动词的关系就不同,差了一个层次
