这样就改变原意了，句子原意是让recent修饰sales的，而不是去修饰extended

如果用现在完成时，那不就说明这个动作延续到现在了么。

    其实在这里我认为根据句子的意思，我觉得不能判断recent是修饰sales还是extended的

如果recent是修饰sales，就可以翻译成：最近扩大的销售下滑

如果是修饰extended，则翻译成：最近的扩大的销售下滑

仅仅根据题意是不能判断recent是修饰谁的,

倒是我觉得我认为这个题目用现在完成时的，因为report的主语是seven-store retailer ，这个修饰短语变成句子，就成为：seven-store retailer reported that， 那么后面必定接过去时或者过去完成时，这样就可以排除B了

我没考虑那么多，主句是过去时的动词，分词修饰想也没想就had done了

因为宣布促销肯定在发生问题之后，也就是说问题是said前发生的

所以就had done

在原句中用recent，就说明是修饰sales的了。

我也觉得adj+ajd+n这个结构很有问题。不能因为A有这个结构就说他是对的啊。比如有一题 worried students' parents 这个就是A选项里的，它是错的。还有一题"MORE efficient engines" 同样是A的，依然是错的。所以我觉得 recent extended slump也是有问题的。求人解答。
