答案是A,没有问题. c看着也挺顺的,不知道哪里错了?

句子就通了

加了THEY

就变成but locusts they become excited, change color, vibrate, and even hum

错了

刮号里的内容省略, 感觉挺对的, 比A简洁.

E有很多问题。首先When是不能省略的，其次不该用then，正确的是When (lotusts are) placed with others of their species, they become excited, change color, vibrate, and even hum.
