这个好像没有解决D中developed a scale for rating the likelihood 的问题吧

这题本来选C的，觉得是will be likely to的结构，但是google上搜了一下，似乎只有以下2种用法：

1. will＋likely＋v. 的用法，

2. how likely ＋ is/are ＋to do的用法

也就是说很少出现how likely ＋ will be to do的用法，从这点来说，C的将来时＋to do似乎有重复之嫌

E中likelihood that may...的用法不对

D中又出现一个have developed a scale for rating ，似乎也很少出现在正确选项中

这道题我选择的是D，但是看了答案后觉得应该选择C

我的理由是：这里的WILL BE TO并不是一个结构，不是表示将来的BE TO，因为how likely a particular asteroid or comet will be to其实应该是 will be (to +后面的collide）可以理解为will be 是表示前面的asteroid或者comet的状态，而后面的to应该和will be分开

还请NN们指点迷津啊。。。

本来无法理解will be to所以选了E。但现在明白了，是will be likely to的省略。那么C就没有什么可争议的了。

我记得白勇上说好象GMAC不倾向使用 for doing 这样的表达,除此以外我找不出让我觉得D错的理由.这么说的话还是C比较好.而且C读起来比较顺~~

我觉得 题目的意思是 计算出可能性 rate the likelihood  改成 rate how likely it will be 总觉得改变了句意啊 我觉得 E比较好 除了 MAY 和 LIKELIHOOD 语意重复  

C的 BE TO 也没有错

        a particular asteroid or comet will be to 其实是 be likely to do 的固定搭配 的 BE

不是别的意思
