People from Eastern countries aspire for uniformity, value justice more than profit, and prefer an indirect and implicit way in their expression of emotions, while those from Western countries put more emphasis on individuality and principles, and would rather express themselves in a direct and straightforward way … Driven by the tremendous tide of globalization, the world as we see is becoming more and more assimilated and united. Yet differences are still evident between the worlds of east and west in cultural traditions and mindset. Therefore, how to seek common points while reserving differences, and how to achieve common development at the same time, emerge as a hot issue which calls for serious attention.
