Why application of MIF starts later than MBA for LBS (also later than most MBA programs)?

Does it mean that MIF does not see competitiveness with MBA program and could only recuite after it?

Not worth going to LSE? aiyaya.....It's actually my first choice...
I'm not so sure if I'm good enough for LBS (MiF), my background's as follows:

GPA around 3.3, graduated from University of Cape Town (South Africa)
GMAT690
2 years of experience in the Big Four accounting firms
CFA Level One Passed

Would appreciate it if anyone could share some thoughts on how likely I'll be able to get in LBS.

it's possible that you can enter LBS if you can show that 1) you achieved a lot in your work 2) why you choose MIF, what's your career plan and how you can contribute to LBS. e.g. if your job in big four include IPO/m&a audit, due diligence etc. and you want to work in IB/PE in the future, then you have chance.
