Stacey's off to New York, so do you know who might replace her?

W: that is a touch one but I will certainly keep an eye for some one.

Q where do the speakers probably have their conversation?

B. On the Telephone

C. in the office of a restaurant

D in New york.

The Answer is C.

Could anyone shed some light why the answer is C?

A,B and D are not correct，so the answer is C.

首先对话的双方是在讨论工作的位置问题，男人说：不好意思把你从你的厨房里叫来，stacey到NEW YORK去了，谁能代替她？

女人说：这有点麻烦，不过我会留心找个人的。既然女人是从厨房里被叫出来的，不会是A，也不会是D，应该是STACEY去了那里，和他们没关系，B是个容易被混淆的答案，他们有可能在打电话，但是相比之下，没有C合适，首先是他们问候的方式，而且如果是打电话那个男的怎么知道女的在厨房呢，总之逻辑上很勉强，C更好。
