主語 + 謂語 + 比較級 + 賓語 + than + 助動詞 + 名詞

是比較主語和名詞。比如﹕wild animals have less fat than do livestock是 wild animals和livestock的比較。

主語 + 謂語 + 比較級 + 賓語 + than + 名詞

則是賓語和名詞的比較。比如﹕wild animals have less fat than livestock是fat和livestock的比較。

助動詞應該是不能輕易省略的。

支持答案C。沒有助動詞。但是fat和that of livestock是可比的。B的比較不對。A前面的比較是可以的。但是後面的不對。

我也喜欢参照nytimes，觉得他们写得很好。可惜时间太少，订了这份报纸基本上没有翻过。

PS： livestock谓语动词用复数。常见的这类名词有: people, police, cattle, poultry, militia, livestock, youth, vermin, folk
