我觉得DOUBLE肯定是不对的.

我目前的想法是:double做动词意思是"是...的两倍",但是时间是1940年应该用过去时态.A,B都不行.

tiwce是一个副词,C中有名词,但是又没有动词做谓语,不能说是一个句子,排除C. those指代什么就要看全句拉.

但是字典上给的解释是"double in quantity, rate etc.

我想应该是E
