B中and前后两部分无法保持平行，且改变句子意思

句子原意是说: this communal ownership of land was
                a pre-Columbian form of ownership, which was respected by Spaniards

which是指代a pre-Columbian form of ownership

而使用and后，respected by...直接修饰communal ownership

即“这种pre-Columbian所有制的形式是被Spaniards所推崇的，而不是共同所有制被Spaniards推崇”，我认为这种共同所有制并不等同于pre-Columbian时代的所有制，只是采取了当时的所有制的一种形式。

不知道我讲清楚了没有。

我的疑问是：E为什么不对？是不是因为E直接说

the communal ownership of land that had been a pre-Columbian form of ownership

即ownership是一种form，因此逻辑上意思不通，所以错误？

“had been a pre-Columbian form of ownership respected by the Spaniards”  refers to "ownership" but not "land"。So E is not a proper anwser.
