1.关于so as to 的逻辑主语为主句的主语，指的是so as to 这个修饰成份所在的同一层次的句子称为主句（如红色部分称为主句，而so as to 只是个修饰成份，当作从属成份，类似于从句）。并非指我们常说的一个句子中有主从句，其中的从句。

2.在gemj的例子中：

[/quote]赞成gemj的意见, so as to 的逻辑主语是a response.把它的修饰去掉作为逻辑主语确实有点奇怪,把修饰代入 a response to evolutionary pressure再翻译过来为:针对进化压力的反应是为了确保不同的基因库, 这样就说的通了.
