请教两体语法提,画线依次为A,B,C,D

2,an enviroment  favorable for the growth and preservation of organisms allows for the occurring of  fosilis.答案是C?我觉得应该是D改成occurrence b吧?

3.it took just under a hundred years before United States finally had compulsory pubic school      education.. 答案是B?  我觉得是A改成over 吧?

4.the human  eye retains an image for a fraction of  a second longer than the image is present, so a motion picture  gives a rapid  succession  after still pictiure to still picture. 答案是D.是不是after 后面一定要接名词呢?

allow做允许讲为vt直接加宾语所以应该是allows the occurring
allow for 做考虑到，体谅讲，放在原句意思不通。
我觉着occurring应该可以吧！！强调正在进行的动作。因为这个句子也用一般现在时啊！！

after 后面可以直接加名也可以加一个完整的句子。但是这句话after后面直接加了picture就不对了。

after后面加完整的句子应该是主语+谓语，而不能直接加谓语。after不像when or while什么的可以后面直接加谓语作为省略形式。
