这道题不是很懂，请斑竹指教 twice地用法， 我记得OG里面有一个6只鸟类迁徙，用的是doubling。。。

(1) double作动词时是主动语态(OG72);

(2)倍数的问题，如果强调动作的话，都用动词

(3)当要表达明确的两倍而又要用twice等词时一般用twice the number(=the number+ double)这类结构

(4)twice as much (many) as...

OG168:the same amount of acreage produces twice as many apples as it did in 1910;                                               

OG156:dirt roads cost twice as much to maintain as paved roads do
