看到有种说法是fast不能修饰rate，只能用high 和great 修饰。可我看到了一个例句写的是

Fast data rate , up to 100 megabits per second (Mbps) or over.

请问fast不能修饰rate的依据在哪里？谢谢

rate本身没有快慢,而它的增长有快慢.

我们说the rate increase fast.

这句话缺少实意动词与fast搭配, be动词是不行的.

two times 看到就是错的，都要用twice,所以d e 都错，twice在这里是副词，这句话是这样的，the rate of the increase...was nearly twice what it was in the 1970's, 在这里，twice是副词修饰was。
