個人意見：

A of B that並無一定規則規定that必須修飾誰,修飾B或A都可

有關修飾B的例子,請找prep裡有個句子是the list of animals that exhibit.....

這當然是個難點，因為沒辦法用公式去選出正確的答案，必須考慮上下文的含意才行。

看了下自己做的小结:

发现 that定从的指代在OG里面出现的还是挺多的:

黄皮:

80.     New hardy varieties of rice show promise of producing high yields without the costly irrigation and application [of commercial fertilizer] that were required by earlier high-yielding varieties.

116.  Out of America's fascination with all things antique has grown a market [for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures ]that is bringing back the chaise lounge, the overstuffed sofa, and the claw-footed bathtub.

还有diagnostic test中的2题:

50 题(见楼主的贴子)

43 题: [ judges and partners at major law firms ] who are women
限制性定从who 修饰judges以及 partners at major law firms(介词结构修饰partners,不影响判断who的指代),

从这几道题目来看, 我认为A (介词结构B) that 定从,  定从指代的是核心词A

我觉得  A of B+that中的that应该可以指代A也可以指代B  

当that引导的是非限制性定语从句的时候，that指代的只能是B

但是现在that引导的应该是限制性定语从句，并且可以推理得到that应该指代的是前面的a standardized way
(参见 http://forum.chasedream.com/GMAT_SC/thread-631439-1-1.html ）

      这里我认为可以从 a standardized way of 的 of 可以判断出，"of distributing...internet" 应该都是在做 定语(?) 修饰 way

      把这部分遮住不看的话就很容易看清句子的主体了： a standardized way that will protect and (will) foil ...



至于这个成分是不是叫定语我就不知道了
