I can understand how difficult it is to turn down either of the two schools...

As you said, it depends on what you value...Each school has its relative strength.

To be honest, if i were you, i would choose HBS without any hesitation, because I am in banking industry and most of the CEO's and CXO's of the top i-banks and PE firms are HBS alumni...Goldman, Merrill, Morgan Stanley ( John Mack excluded..;-)), Carlyle...

Stanford is also fantastic, but it won't like me...heheehe

just my personal view...no intentin to push u...;-)

Thanks, realize. I see your point, as I'm also in this industry. It makes a whole lot sense to go down the path by choosing HBS and have a great life. However, there is always this voice in my head, "what if, I do something different?" And I sensed that, Stanford might help me find that "something"...
