as means of sth.这个用法我本来也搞错了，OG上说The idiom as a means to is properly used.后来我又去查了LONGMAN，as means of sth不正确，应该是by  means of sth

这个我也查了一下:
如果是 by means 或 no means 后面就接 of

如果是 a means 后面就要接 to 了

譬如说:

a means to an end
something that you do because it will help you to achieve something else
I didn't particularly like the job - it was just a means to an end.

The above is an example in Longman. I don't have OG on hand. Does ETS explicitly say that "as a means of " is wrong, or it just says that "as a means to" is idiomatic?

我又查了一些字典. 觉得应该和介系词后接的词性有点关系. a means of + N. 应该是单纯所有格. a means of ving or a mean to+ n/phrase  应该就有动作和因果的意思. 所有应该不是 a means of 有错而是因为
这个句子的结构所造成的错. 一个未证实的想法. 仅供参考
