B中为什么"can hardly be said to be at fault" does not grammatically complete the subordinate clause???? 怎么还不能complete the sbuordinate clause

E中为什么不能successfuly convey the meaning of the sentence呢?????

it is the fault of educators who have not

You cannot use 'who' to modifier fault, therefore, 'that' is a must. C is wrong.

Inverting the usual order results in an ungrammatical construction in which the main verb is both preceded and followed by a subordinate clause,不清楚这个样子不可以吗?

50.   That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said that it their fault: Aivin Toffler, one of the most prominent students of the future, did not even mention microcomputers in Future Shock, published in 1970.

(A)         That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said that it is their fault

(B)         That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said to be at fault

That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology,其余的部分can hardly be said to be at fault,那么句意是这个事件to be at fault,逻辑上就说不通,因为应该to be at fault的其实

是educators

(C)         It can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators who have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology

这里who从句修饰educators,这样这个句子说at fault的是educators,但是没有说明那些educators是由于who从句中的事件at fault的

(D)        It can hardly be said that educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology

(E)         The fact that educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said

E的重点是the fact that ....是不是can hardly be said.

所以C和E都改变了句子重心,so distorts the meaning of the sentence
