NYU deadline is Jan 15 Sunday.  So I suppose if I use Fedex to mail and arrive at Monday morning Jan 16, there should be no problem.  Nobody worked on Sunday. School will only check on Monday morning

Most of the time the post office only post-mark the materials when they receive them.
