不好意思，前面思考的方向出现偏差。现在重新讨论。

1 wordy的问题是和其他选项比较出来的。it is none that...和none is...比较起来，确实是wordy。不多谈。

2it is none that的ungrammatical问题。这涉及到比较结构。比较结构的比较对象要求在语法和逻辑上都能比较。逻辑比较只可意会，不可言传，不好多说。但语法比较是要求主语和主语比，谓语和谓语比，等等之类。本题是很明显的主语和主语之间的比较，也就是none和the wave比，如果用it is none和the wave比，就是不和语法结构。这一点还请xdjm们在总结比较结构时多加体会。

在有，it is none that本身是不存在语法问题的，也不是说none不能用与强调结构（前面看有牛人说是强调结构的问题，因此走进了这个死胡同，最近在总结比较结构的时候发现了这的问题），大家可以google一下none在强调句的例子，有很多。欢迎大家拍砖。

东方老师是这么讲的：

"of all the vast tides of migration..."中"of all the..."意思是曾经发生的／所有的...，那么提出全是曾经发生过的进行比较时就自然要用过去式了．

og11-23中有这个of all the的例子，是“所有的...”意思。

og23 Of all the possible disasters that threaten American agriculture, the possibility of an adverse change in climate is maybe the more difficult for analysis.
(A) is maybe the more difficult for analysis
(B) is probably the most difficult to analyze
(C) is maybe the most difficult for analysis
(D) is probably the more difficult to analyze
(E) is, it may be, the analysis that is most difficult

This sentence compares an adverse change in climate to all possible disasters, so the superlative form most difficult must be used in place of the comparative form more difficult. The sentence also uses two incorrect idioms: maybe should be replaced by probably, and the adjective difficult should be followed by the infinitive to analyze rather than the phrase for analysis.

对于为什么用was而非is，我个人的浅见是

is所处的地方，跟brought更接近，同属一个句子里面，没有特别的原因，不要用两种时态。

而of开头的介词短语，是状语成分，而且用comma跟主句隔开了，用不同的时态，没有任何问题。

it is none that....做强调句没错。个人理解之所以说是ungrammatical是因为前面‘of all the vast tides of migration that...,’是作修饰语的成分修饰none。换句话说，如果换作强调句的结构，则‘of....’这部分修饰的成分就修饰it了。

我们有听说some of , all of ,none of ,但没听过it of。以上是个人的理解。

此外对于时态我还是想不通。还有，none后如果跟复数名词，动词不是应该复数吗？此题中为什么是is而不是are？请教！

刚查了朗文，对于none后接动词的问题已解决。

After the plural noun, you can use a plural or singular verb. You should use a singular verb in formal writing 

• None of us care OR cares what happens to him.

• None of us is able to escape the consequences of our actions.

强调句里 it is 是不做成分的,所以不是修饰it 的.

不信考不上

我认为，CD选项中的强调语法结构是没有问题的，只是原文没有表达强调之意，选项中也不可以随便改变句意。

我认为最关键还是比较结构more than，比较的是主语，但是如果加上强调结构，more前面跟的就是一个句子结构，than后面跟the wave是一个名词，这样比较结构就说不通了。

这道题我的做题思路是：

 

1. more than 结构，这是一个correctiveness问题，排除了AB

2. 一般来讲
   probably>perhaps>maybe, so排除D

3. it is none that is 和none was 是根据 more than的平行结果，none 和wave 平行；另外时态问题，我觉得用was/is均可。前面说migration 在历史上对现在的影响，而后面wave 用的brought，就说明是比wave （即前面的migration）的那个过去的时候更集中，这时none可以是现在的，也可以是过去的。

时态问题还是没弄懂，是否可以从比较结构时态的统一来考虑？不懂那
