Sorensen, the White House counsel, did not know it existed.的解释是E awkwardly inverts the order of the subject and predicate in the main clause and thus cannot be logically connected to the remainder of the sentence.

但OG177中的正确选项确是So poorly educated and trained are many young recruits to the United States work force that many business executives fear this country will lose its economic preeminence.

这不是矛盾吗，请高人指点。谢谢

一般SO THAT的倒装形式是SO+V+N+THAT，如果把V放在了SO THAT修饰的外面，似乎有改变意思之嫌，因为本来SO THAT修饰的是V。

倒装的话只能形容词提前，不能动词提前。
